With growing demand, an increase in product offerings and a Brand Refresh set to fully rollout this Summer/Spring Co-Founders John and Peter Romano have had their sights set on a facility in the West End of Toronto for over a year.
"Prior to Covid-19, we had an aggressive growth plan for 2020/2021. Although Covid-19 set us back slightly, we haven't taken our foot off the pedal. With the boom in our E-commerce & door drop delivery, 3 new skus in the LCBO [Tongue Tied & Raspberry & Blackberry Jam Stand], No Bad Daze Lager launching exclusively at Ontario Grocery and a Brand Refresh, we knew our Burlington facility couldn't keep up ." Peter Romano, Co-Founder.
Currently, Nickel Brook Brewing can be found at, 864 Drury Lane in Burlington. Once a U-Brew then Better Bitters Brewing Co., John and Peter Romano have been sharing their passion and knowledge of Craft Beer for over 15 years.
"In 2019 we received word that the property where our Burlington location resides was being redeveloped. We took our time looking for a new home, looking from the Niagara Region to Toronto. We've always had a bit of a struggle with presence in Toronto, so we wanted to find a location closer to the city. The Etobicoke brewery has been on our radar for some time now and with a growing portfolio we knew now was the time. Although we are a regional Craft Brewery, the community of Burlington has become our family, and we would never leave our family. We will remain at Drury Lane for the next year and have big plans for a brand new brewery, Bottle Shop and Tap Room at 3426 Mainway in Burlington in Summer of 2022." John Romano, Co-Founder.
Nickel Brook Brewing Co. is also trying their hand at Cider, becoming Agent of Record for West Avenue Cider House in Freelton Ontario. West Avenue Cider has been awarded Best Cider in Ontario for several years running.
"We couldn't be happier to represent our friends at West Avenue Cider. We have a gap in our portfolio with the absence of Cider. To produce cider well takes time, patience and love...Chris and Amy and their entire team have all of this and more!" John Romano.
